Housing is the highest monthly bill typical Americans face, reaching an average of $1674 a month in 2021. Over 225 CLTs have developed since their inception in the 1960s (Grounded Solutions Network 2021), and fifteen states have some version of a positive law supporting CLT formation and affirming CLT legality in their state (Decker 2018).

From the first article: Alcohol killed 1,547 people statewide in 2022 — fewer than the 1,799 who died of overdoses. This table from the first article lists the leading causes of death in Colorado as of 2022. But it's a major oversight in a city like DC, where addiction is high, for example 461 opioid-related overdose deaths in 2022.

In 2018, I wrote a piece about the attempt to extend the RFK campus lease, but at the behest of the "Washington" NFL team, which has been based in Suburban Prince George's County for a couple decades. -- " Yes, modify and extend the RFK Campus lease; No, don't do it for the Washington Redskins football team " The RFK campus is on the right.

Summit County where Park City is then developed a similar tax, called RAP, Recreation, Arts and Parks. The station was originally owned by another nonprofit, and sold off to a different nonprofit a few years ago. The tax had to be approved by the Legislature originally and is renewed every ten years.
