In November 2016, ownership of ONT was returned to the Inland Empire from LA County. After a period of power struggle back and forth, it was decided that ownership of ONT would be returned to the Inland Empire, with the official transfer taking place in November 2016. Under the leadership of the Inland Empire, ONT is now ranked 9th.

Operating safely isn’t a choice. I guess WMATA still has this opportunity with upcoming 50th anniversary of the start of service--2026--to get their "stuff" together, rebuild the consensus, actually figure out how to operate the system, grow it, if possible, etc. We are keeping customers at the center of everything we do.

Red Line trains will operate every six minutes, while Blue, Orange and Silver line trains will arrive every 12 minutes. That's not unlike what I've suggested for the Inauguration (" Should transit on Inauguration Day be free? ," 2013/2016) and other super special events (" Washington Cherry Blossom Festival and event transit ," 2023).

Another example is the taxi collectif program of the STM transit system in Montreal , which operates at end of line stations. But I didn't extend this tertiary transit concept to the transit sheds of other PL stations. The Seattle electric shuttle service FRED, was mentioned as an example. Some examples exist, especially in Tempe, Arizona.
