DC does not understand its "unique selling proposition" or "core competency" is being transit- and sustainable mobility-centric. I stepped down when we moved to Salt Lake in late 2019, although I thought at the time somehow I'd be maintaining residences in both places. I first proposed to the city creating TMDs in 2005/2006. Master Plan contract, 2019. It should support sustainable modes (biking, walking, transit improvements) as well as parking.
