In a 2014 paper in Perspectives on Politics , Martin Gilens and Benjamin Page stated America’s government is demonstrably responsive to the “economic elite and organized business interests.” It is only a matter of time until it will become billionaire versus billionaire in a head-to-head match. China has figured out the same thing.
