The $430 million Focal Point [Community Campus] development is slated to be built on 11 acres acquired from the city for $1 by a nonprofit affiliated with St. Market on the Green" nonprofit supermarket. The complex is set to include two schools, retail stores, a child-care center, an indoor recreation facility and an athletic field.

Like Tower Hamlets' IdeaStores (" Neighborhood libraries as nodes in a neighborhood and city-wide network of cultural assets ," 2019), it should have been placed in the commercial district. A big concern about the park concept is that it will spur displacement and gentrification. Organizing around the water is too limited given the issues.
