DC's planning function and capacity has diminished with each mayor since Anthony Williams left office in 2006. I have been interested in the opportunity for higher education infused urban revitalization for decades. Some schools have invested in nearby commercial districts, like Catholic University mentioned above. DC has plenty of assets.
