In 2009, I was appointed to serve on the Community Advisory Committee, representing the Eastern Market Preservation and Development Corporation. I first proposed to the city creating TMDs in 2005/2006. We did this in 2008 or 2009. It should support sustainable modes (biking, walking, transit improvements) as well as parking.
