Those targets were spread more equitably among different communities, too. With new reforms in place, Beverly Hills received a housing target of 3,104 for the 2021 to 2029 planning period, compared to nearby Coachella’s 7,886. The median townhouse on a formerly single-family lot in 2020 had an assessed value of $340,000.
