On June 21, 2022, Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched the 2022 Amazon Sustainability Data Initiative ( ASDI ) Global Hackathon, part of a new collaboration with the International Research Centre in Artificial Intelligence, under the auspices of UNESCO. ASDI data catalog offers open and no cost data in the cloud.

Under the Paris Climate Agreement, they have pledged to cut emissions by 68% by 2030, a mere 7 years away. The fight for sustainability will not be solved by one single solution, person or industry; we all have a role to play.
