DC's planning function and capacity has diminished with each mayor since Anthony Williams left office in 2006. Some schools have invested in nearby commercial districts, like Catholic University mentioned above. That's why I have to laugh at the article in today's Post about USC, " D.C. But that's not a unique failing.
