Since 2005 or 2006 I have been recommending that the city create Traffic Management Districts as a way to coordinate transportation management and improvements at the commercial district scale (e.g. must step up on road deaths."

It's an old rail corridor that was acquired by the Utah Transit Authority (" From rails to trails ," Deseret News , 2005) and is a joint project with the communities it passes through. The trail is definitely utilized. I rode this trail the other day. As a trail it's nice, although it could use more trees.
