Brightline West should also be used to transform public transit service in Las Vegas

Rebuilding Place in Urban Space

In 2002, it was extended almost 3 miles, connecting to a number of other casinos. The system went into bankruptcy and now is run as a nonprofit. People lining up for The Deuce. Transit in Las Vegas Bus. RTC Southern Nevada is the public transit agency in the Las Vegas Valley. The Las Vegas Monorail wasn't designed to be mass transit.

The Bok Building served as a model, the former South Philadelphia high school now home to a bounty of small businesses, nonprofits, and artists, attracting people from around the city to the spectacular views of its rooftop bar. Instead, people wanted to open its walls so pedestrians could more easily move between Chinatown and Market East.
