October is typically considered a spooky month, but not only because of zombies, ghosts and witches. It’s also Cybersecurity Awareness Month which means there’s a spotlight on the very real dangers and risks associated with cyber threats.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency started Cybersecurity Awareness Month back in 2004 with the goal of increasing awareness around cyber threats in both the public and private sectors. As threats have only evolved and become more sophisticated in the nearly 20 years since this program began, it feels more relevant than ever.
