Individualized, safer, and accessible learning

On April 17, ASU+GSV Summit 2023 kicks off in San Diego, California. This annual conference, which started 10 years ago to focus on startup and venture capital, has evolved to cover how the entire education ecosystem can empower digital learning and skills growth for all. Google Cloud is proud to be a premier sponsor for the third year in a row.

At Google, learning is a part of everything we do –  from early childhood and K-12 to higher education and corporate learning. Our aim is to help everyone, especially the underserved, benefit from technology at any stage of learning. We strive to meet this ethos by making learning more personal, safer, and accessible to everyone.

Adapting to the new demands of learners

Educators continue to struggle with learning inequality, especially the gap between students who have access to the latest technology and those who don’t. Due to the impact of the pandemic, they're often finding that students know less today compared to students in the same grade just a few years ago. Teachers are also overwhelmed by administrative tasks that take time and energy away from focusing on students, resulting in educator burn-out and learners not meeting their potential.

At ASU+GSV Summit 2023, we’re highlighting some of our solutions and programs that help EdTech companies and schools help to meet these challenges. Here’s a preview:

Individualize learning at scale with the power of AI

Google Cloud is helping EdTechs individualize teaching and learning at scale with pre-made and custom machine learning tools such as Google Cloud’s learning platform and interactive tutor. AI tools like Generative AI Support in Vertex AI and Gen App Builder, which are currently in pre-general availability, have ushered in a new chapter of AI, enabling use cases such as content generation, chat, summarization, classification, and more. Our booth at ASU+GSV Summit 2023 will feature several of Google Cloud’s AI-powered products.

Keeping learning environments safe and secure

Google Cloud’s comprehensive security stack allows educational institutions and EdTechs to detect, investigate, and respond to online threats, providing a safer digital learning environment for users and keeping data safe. At our ASU+GSV booth visitors can demo tools like reCAPTCHA Enterprise, which keeps attackers out of websites while ensuring users can get in.

Supercharging EdTech startups

Google is committed to helping EdTechs solve their biggest challenges in education. At ASU+GSV, startup founders can learn how to tap into the Google for Startup Cloud Program along with a new joint offering from Google Cloud and StartEd that will help them unlock technical, business, and financial benefits and connect to a large community of founders, mentors, and investors.
