Today we are announcing that the Cloud Policy service will begin rolling out for Microsoft 365 government GCC, GCC High and DoD customers and we are looking for customers to sign up to participate in our preview program to get an early look and provide feedback.

The Cloud Policy service allows Microsoft 365 administrators to configure policies for Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise and assign these policies using Azure Active Directory security groups.  Once configured, these policies are automatically enforced as users sign in and use Microsoft 365 apps.

The initial release will support policies for Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise on Windows and future updates will bring support for additional applications and platforms.

For additional information about the Cloud Policy service, refer to Overview of the Cloud Policy service for Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise

Any further news on this?

Entering into 2024 and this is still not working for GCC customers.  Without the ability to configure apps, the edge browser is a terrible experience.  My users are redirected to "personal office" waffles and suffer the spammy msn page full of ads and adware.  This was working before the move to the new homepage.  I submitted a ticket and was told that the feature is not available for GCC users.  So now governments have broken browsers.  Perfect.

Our logo is gone and when the waffle appears it redirects users to personal Microsoft apps.  Any updates on the progress would be most appreciated.
