And when thinking about writing about it, I remembered a bus initiative back in 2006 too. When I first saw coverage I thought, "what about the 2017" initiative, although granted it was before covid. But of course, conditions have changed greatly since then.

Before Ohio’s new county land banks were conceived, the main goal from 2004 to 2006 was to respond to local leaders’ demand for speedier tax foreclosure of long tax-delinquent vacant and abandoned lands. There were major exercises on pandemics in 2005, 2007 and 2016. Plans were made in the UK in 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2014. Since 2008, pandemics have been top of the list of 96 threats and hazards in the UK National Risk Register of Civil Emergencies in all editions.
